Ward Reilly:
The Marines are coming to Wall St...(to PROTECT the protestors)

"I'm heading up there tonight in my dress blues. So far, 15 of my fellow marine buddies are meeting me there, also in Uniform.

I want to send the following message to Wall St and Congress:

I didn't fight for Wall St. I fought for America. Now it's Congress' turn.

My true hope, though, is that we Veterans can act as first line of defense between the police and the protester. If they want to get to some protesters so they can mace them, they will have to get through the Fucking Marine Corps first. Let's see a cop mace a bunch of decorated war vets.

I apologize now for typos and errors. Typing this on iPhone whilst heading to NYC. We can organize once we're there. That's what we do best. If you see someone in uniform, gather together.

A formation will be held tonight at 10PM.

We all took an oath to uphold, protect and defend the constitution of this country. That's what we will be doing.

Hope to see you there!!"

  1. Fuckin A Man! Good work!

  2. Yup - heard that they arrived today!

  3. I am so proud of those Marine's!!! I grew up a Army brat. My Father served for 25 years, with 3...yes 3 tours in Vietnam. I was raised with a tremendous amount of respect for the military and very patriotic to my country. I just turned 34, and in the past 10 years I have really started loosing any and all respect I grew up with. The only thing I am patriotic towards NOW, is my Constitution and groups of great people I know, that have shown me, they KNOW what being a American is REALLY about. Otherwise...ALL love for this once great country has left me. That is very hard, and painful! Growing up I BELIEVED all the things I was indoctrinated to believe and I have had the whole f*&king rug pulled out from under me. I almost feel regret in having had 4 children. What kind of world, have I brought them into? I am excited for change. REAL change. Not Obama style change, but grass roots change. I ache for something that will make me love my country again. WE ALL DO! Occupy NYC, Occupy Dayton, Occupy USA!

  4. Sarah, this movement has energized this "scarred heart" as well!

    Thank you for sharing that.
